For high-resolution imaging applications of Earth observation from satellites, CILAS has combined ultra-dense coating processes with the latest microstructure manufacturing technology issued from microelectronics, in order to supply high precision optical coated components.
These narrowband filters have a Full Width at Half Maximum of 20nm with 1 nanometre accuracy.

CILAS has recently invested in a NEW Coating Platform using the Magnetron Sputtering technology which is able to coat large optics up to 2mX2m with a very high uniformity and to realize industrial volume serial production.
The platform also includes a large automated machine to clean optical components, as well as several additional control and metrology devices.
